After Ann Arbor Pioneer High, I joined the United States Marine Corps in November of 1968: best decision I ever made. After boot camp and infantry training, I spent 9 months getting Military Electronics Training (no rifle toting/crawl thru rice pads for me!) and I've spent the time since then trying to prove them wrong. After leaving The Corps, landed a 23 year career at Comshare Inc. as a computer repairman and TTL electronics designer. After Comshare, my resume at ManPower included the word "soldering" which got my foot in the door at the U of M Space Physics Research Lab and I'm still there.
