Growing up a typical kid in Ann Arbor, going to Burns Park and Tappan, I had no idea of the encounter I would have while at Pioneer: I was introduced to the Lord Jesus Christ, and - at age 16 - gave my life to Him. While going to Wellesley and the U-M I had ups and downs in my following after Him, but because of His faithfulness I never fell into the swamps of drugs and all the rest of the pits that kill young, impressionable lives. I married Chuck after teaching 2 years on Cape Cod. He was in seminary at the time, and we've had a career of pastoring college students, teaching, homeschooling our 4 children and ministering in Africa. We're now at what I call the "harvest" stage of our lives, and have the added joy of grandparenting our 12 grandchildren. We'll be just getting home from Ethiopia June 23, and so will miss the reunion gathering. I'd love to hear from any of you who would like to email!
